OUR DEPARTMENT
Dammeron Valley Fire & Rescue is a combination fire and rescue agency that serves the residents of Dammeron Valley directly and surrounding communities through Mutual and Automatic Aid Agreements. We operate a staffed 24/7 station and we provide primary firefighting services to Dammeron Valley and surrounding communities in addition to Emergency Medical Services to the SR18 Corridor from mile marker 10.5 to mile marker 24, and extending west to Gunlock, Utah and east into state and federal public lands. Having a staffed station with career, reserve and part-time personnel allows for an immediate response where we achieve a less than 9:00 minute average response time anywhere in our rural area of responsibility.

DVFR is funded directly by annual payments from Dammeron Valley residents, as well as grants, donations and a newly established Wildland Fire Program in 2022. The Department operates under the administration of the Dammeron Valley Fire Special Service District Board.
